Kate Archer
Originally hailing from North Carolina, art has always been a calling since childhood. She moved to NYC in 2010 and obtained a degree in illustration from The School of Visual Arts. Following that, Kate learned the craft of tattooing from Stephanie Tamez and Virginia Elwood at SAVED in Brooklyn. After a decade in New York City she decided to call Philly home and hasn’t looked back!
Kate’s work aims to depict the powerful diversity of Queer sex, love and self with an added edge. They draw influences from classic tattoo imagery, mid-century erotica, biological illustration and bold folk-art themes. Kate has special interests in pinup body diversity and sexuality but prides herself in being able to work with many different themes & styles and believes in pushing their artistic limits every day!
